Barbara is a stunning wooden sailing yacht built in England in 1923 by the Camper & Nicholsons shipyard, designed by Charles Ernest Nicholson, one of the greatest naval designers in the history.<\/p>\n

Barbara had a philological refitting in Viareggio by the Francesco Del Carlo Shipyard, finished in 2018.<\/p>\n

The boat, a Bermudian Yawl of 19 meters long, sailing with the Historical Sails of Viareggio, participates at the main Mediterranean regattas and rallies, being available for projects with the aim of enhancing and promoting the spirit and tradition of vintage yachting and the historical and cultura! heritage that this boat represents.<\/p>\n

In recent years, Barbara has been involved in the spread of the nautica! culture in different sectors.<\/p>\n

An example is the (Re)lnspiration project, a photographic journey that highlights the cystic fibrosis in extraordinary situations far from the classic idea of hospitalization, for the support and inclusion of teenagers and young adults with cystic fibrosis.<\/p>\n
